Our Oregon tie treatment plant has been in operation in The Dalles since 1922, with AmeriTies West LLC assuming management from Kerr McGee in February of 2005. Our wood is primarily sourced from Oregon and Washington sawmills, and the treated products primarily serve the needs of America's Class 1 railroads. We supply crossties, switch ties, and bridge timbers -- key components of the railroad infrastructure -- facilitating one of the most energy efficient and cleanest forms of national transportation.
We have an experienced workforce. Several of our employees have been with this operation for more than 20 years. All of our employees are empowered to ensure the safety of our workforce, plant, and community.
