Serving the counties of Gilliam, Hood River, Sherman, Wasco, and Wheeler, our mission is to connect families with essential tools, resources, and referrals that enhance parenting experiences and support early childhood development.
Our comprehensive services include parent education classes, Preschool Promise referrals and placements, and engaging Parent Cafés. We also offer guidance on kindergarten readiness, ensuring both children and parents are well-prepared for this pivotal transition. For early learning professionals, we provide resources focused on kindergarten readiness, program expansion, and professional development opportunities.
Established in June 2015, Four Rivers Early Learning & Parenting operates under the Columbia Gorge Education Service District. Our dedicated team collaborates across sectors—including early learning, health, human services, K-12 education, and the private sector—to create a cohesive support network for families. We are committed to ensuring that all children have equitable opportunities to thrive and succeed.
