Wasco County Library Service District
The Dalles Public Library is the central location for the Wasco County Library District. Each week we have multiple events, clubs, groups, and other services offered to the Public. With a state-of-the-art Children's Wing and Teen Space, The Dalles Library is the place to go for all ages. From 3D Printing to History and Genealogy, Lego Robotics, Movie Making, Video Games, Teen Nights, and STEAM (Science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) Kits. We even have knitting clubs.
The Dalles-Wasco County Public Library was founded in 1910. After outgrowing its original Carnegie library location, it moved to its new home on Court Street in 1966 and has been there ever since.
