Head to The Dalles for the 42nd Annual Northwest Cherry Festival. A longtime favorite among locals and visitors alike, the festival is set in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge and showcases The Dalles’ deep agricultural heritage and Western roots. The Cherry Festival in 2015 expanded to three days of family-friendly activities and events, and 2023 is going to be even better! The Northwest Cherry Festival takes place in downtown The Dalles from Friday, April 21nd through Sunday, April 23th, 2023. The festival includes the Gorge’s largest parade, classic car show, a 3-5-10k walk/run, and lots of great local music and bands. There’s also craft vendors, agriculture job fair, Cherry Idol, and Carnival. You don’t want to miss the crowning of Cherry Festival Royalty at Mid-Columbia Senior Center’s Breakfast Saturday Morning before the parade! The Dalles has much more to offer and will keep you busy.
