Event Description

Wasco County Historical Society invites the public to a free presentation by LINDA MEANUS, Warm Springs Tribal Elder, educator, author, granddaughter to Flora and Chief Tommy Thompson.

The event will be held Saturday, Aug. 10th, 11:00 a.m., in the Tayler Hall, St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 1805 Minnesota St., The Dalles. The entrance to Tayler Hall is off Montana St., west side of the Church building.

Ms. Means will share her vast knowledge of her culture, celebrations, traditions, and memories of Celilo Falls.

Her book, "My Name Is LaMoosh", will be available at the presentation with cash sales by the Discovery Center & Museum Gift Shop.
