with Jeff Renard, Airport Manager of
the Columbia Gorge Regional Airport.
Jeff will walk us through the airport’s
history and development, current facilities
and runway capacity, corporate and general aviation
traffic, major projects underway — including hangar
expansion and the new college training
hangar — and the airport’s critical role in regional wildfire response.
As a bi-state partnership jointly owned by
the City of The Dalles and Klickitat County, the Columbia Gorge Regional Airport
continues to serve as a vital gateway for business, workforce,
education, and emergency services throughout the Gorge.
