Celebrate Outstanding Citizens of The Dalles Area!

The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to recognize exceptional individuals who make our community shine by nominating them for the 2025 Distinguished Service Awards. These awards celebrate the spirit of service, leadership, and community contribution, aligning with this year's special theme: A Night to Remember: Honoring Heroes, Celebrating Community .

Nominations are open to everyone in the community. Please complete the following form to nominate a deserving individual or business. Award recipients will be honored at our Annual Banquet on September 11, 2025.

We encourage keeping nominations confidential, as the selected recipients will be announced and honored as a surprise during the banquet. The nominators will be contacted privately regarding their submissions.

Business of the Year Award
Honorees selected based on:

• Vision and Innovation beyond "Business as Usual"
• Demonstrated Business Success and Exceptional Performance
• Leadership, Cooperation, and Teamwork
• Contributions to Business Excellence
  (Open to Chamber Members and Non-Members)

Educator of the Year
Recognizing an educator who is exceptionally dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled. Nominees may represent any of the area schools. Please provide detailed examples in your nomination.

First Responder of the Year
Honorees selected based on:

• Exemplary Bravery or Skill demonstrated in the past year
• Actions exceeding standard responsibilities in service to the community
