January and February are traditionally some of the slowest months for local businesses — and The Frosty Trail was created specifically to change that.
The Frosty Trail is a month-long, community-wide promotion designed to drive customers into participating businesses, encourage repeat visits, and bring fun, visible energy to downtown during the winter season. The entire campaign is built around one simple goal: getting people out, shopping local, and supporting you.
The Frosty Trail is designed to highlight businesses that rely on in-person customer visits during the winter months. However, we recognize that some Chamber members operate without a traditional storefront.
To help create additional opportunities for visibility and collaboration, we are exploring optional partnerships where a non-brick-and-mortar business may be featured or hosted by a participating storefront during the campaign. Participation in these collaborations is not required, and any arrangements would be based on mutual interest and availability.
The Chamber’s role is limited to helping make introductions when appropriate.
The campaign combines two easy, customer-friendly activities that motivate people to visit multiple businesses, spend money, and keep coming back.
Customers receive a Frosty Trail passport and earn a stamp each time they spend $10 or more at a participating business.
