| 9/4/2025 | Come to the 69th Annual Kiwanis Steak Feed and support The Dalles Kiwanis Club in helping the children in our community. The Dalles Kiwanis Club has provided scholarships to children in our community for summer art camps, funds for the Backpack Program, and funded grants for the District 21 Education Foundation for teacher's classroom needs. Our club also gives support to the Salvation Army for bell ringing at Christmas, grants to the Doernbecher Children's Cancer Program, donation to the Mt. Hood Kiwanis Camp for adults with disabilities and many other community projects in The Dalles and Mid-Columbia Region. Three Rivers Dulcimer Society is celebrating their 21st year as a dulcimer club and is thrilled to play together in person again for the Maryhill community. They may be joined by their Portland dulcimer friends from Sloe Jam Dulcimers. About Three Rivers Dulcimer SocietyThree Rivers Dulcimer Society is based in the Tri-Cities, Washington and plays American and Celtic folk with a good helping of seasonal tunes. The Society first got together in March 2003. Most group members play Appalachian mountain dulcimers, but they can be accompanied by players of any acoustic instrument.
