The Dalles Farmers MarketMarch 30 at 10:00 AM
·
πΏ What’s In Season in The Dalles and the Columbia River Gorge
One of the best parts of shopping at a farmers market is experiencing what’s truly in season right here in The Dalles and across the Gorge.
While grocery stores make it possible to find almost anything year-round, there’s something special about eating with the seasons. Produce that’s grown locally and harvested at the right time simply tastes better—more flavor, more nutrients, and a deeper connection to the land around us.
Right now in the Columbia River Gorge, you’ll start to see:
π₯¬ Early greens like lettuce, spinach
π± Fresh herbs like chives, parsley, and cilantro
π₯ Spring roots like radishes and young carrots
π Early berries beginning to make an appearance
πΈ Edible flowers and specialty greens
As the season continues, the market will naturally shift—bringing new flavors, colors, and abundance each week.
Join us Saturdays in June-October to get what’s fresh, and in season, locally!
Shopping locally means:
• Better flavor (picked at peak ripeness)
• Supporting local farmers and small businesses
• Eating in rhythm with the land and seasons
Next time you’re at the market, try picking up something that’s in season—you might discover a new favorite.
πΏ Taste the Gorge, one season at a time.

United Way of the Columbia Gorge’s inaugural Art ReLove is a community-centered evening of art, music, and connection. The event features artwork donated by local residents, pieces from studios, homes, or storage, brought back to life for guests to explore and “Re-Love.”
Enjoy a relaxed gallery-style evening at COR Cellars with artwork, delicious wine, light refreshments, a silent auction, and the chance to connect with fellow community members.
All funds raised directly support United Way programs that strengthen children, families, and seniors across the Gorge.
Auction Fundraiser
Step into a vibrant night filled with live music, dancing, delicious food, and exciting opportunities to support the arts in our community. Guests will enjoy a lively mix of live and silent auctions, raffles, and interactive games, all set against the glowing backdrop of the museum’s incredible neon collection. A Caribbean taco bar, catered by Casa El Mirador, will keep the festivities going throughout the evening.
We also encourage guests to dress for the occasion and take part in our Havana Nights costume contest, featuring categories including Best Tropical Glam, Vintage Cuban Style, Smoothest Operator, Best Linen Look, and Most Colorful. Whether you arrive in classic linen, bold tropical prints, or vintage-inspired style, we hope you will join in the fun!
As The Dalles Art Center’s primary fundraiser of the year, Havana Nights plays a vital role in sustaining our exhibitions, educational programming, scholarships, and community arts opportunities throughout the Mid-Columbia Gorge. Every ticket purchased and every bid placed directly supports access to the arts in our region.
Tickets are $50 per person or $400 for a table of 8. Each ticket includes dinner and a drink of choice. Tickets may be purchased online at:
